Step into the shadows of the garden for a chilling screening of the classic Halloween film, 1982 Poltergeist.
Spend Halloween night in the gardens for a hauntingly good time.
The gardens open at 6:00 p.m., and we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before showtime due to the walk to the movie area. Be sure to bring your picnic dinner and seating with you upon entry.
Cost: $10.00 adult, $8.00 child (4-17 years of age), plus online fees. Tickets available online only starting October 27, 2025 until we reach capacity. Children under 3 years of age are required to have a free ticket. Tickets are not available at the door. Check in ends 30 minutes after the movie starts.
Leu Members enjoy free admission to all movie nights with a valid Membership Card and photo ID.Please ensure your membership is current and not expired. No ticket is needed for members. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis and space is limited. Guest Passes, AHS, and Reciprocal Garden memberships are not accepted.Please note: pets and tents are not permitted.
Parking: Parking is free. If the main lot is full, please park legally along nearby streets or on the designated grass area off Nebraska Avenue. Leu Members are encouraged to use the Member Lot until it reaches capacity.
Movie Etiquette: For the enjoyment of all, please silence cell phones during the movie. Leu Gardens is smoke free.
Leu Gardens closes at the end of the movie.
Weather?
We closely monitor the weather and make every effort to proceed with the movie as scheduled. Unless the Gardens officially cancel the event due to rain, please assume the movie will go on. In the event of a cancellation, updates will be posted on our website and social media, and refunds will be issued automatically.
Refund policy
Processing fees cannot be refunded if you request a refund.Refunds are only granted prior to movie time.
Cancellation policy
If the event is canceled by the Gardens, refunds will be automatic.
