Celebrate freedom with a bang at Celebration of Freedom presented by Duke Energy!
Be sure to wear your red, white, and blue, and bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy this Winter Springs tradition. This is our largest event and features a wide range of vendors and entertainment everyone can enjoy. At the end of the night, settle in to watch our Fireworks Spectacular display presented by Duke Energy.
This event hosts many local vendors ranging from informational, shopping, food, and drink. Stroll your way around the entire event area for an amazing tasting, shopping, and networking experience. Throughout the whole evening, enjoy live entertainment and musical performances.
Be sure to come to the stage at 8 p.m. for the Freedom Fling Prize Toss with the Winter Springs Mayor & Commission presented by Chick-Fil-A. As the night wraps up at 9 p.m., place your hand on your heart for the National Anthem and Presentation of Colors. At 9:10 p.m., sit back and enjoy our world-class Fireworks Spectacular display presented by Duke Energy with your friends and family gathered around.
Park visitors are recommended to maintain six (6) feet of separation from others. Face coverings are suggested where social distancing of six (6) feet is not available.
For your comfort and safety, the following items are prohibited in the park:
- Fireworks and sparklers.
- Pop up tents and shades.
- BBQs or cooking devices.
- Pets (except for service animals).
- Glass items or containers.
- No outside alcohol of any kind.
- Coolers larger than 6 pack size.
***All bags and coolers will be searched prior to entry***
Starting at 4:00 pm on Saturday, July 3, 2021, Orange Avenue will be closed at the entrance to Central Winds Park. Likewise, Central Winds Parkway will be closed north of the entrance to the park. These roadways will reopen after the event.
