Beat the Heat at Orlando Science Center’s 4th of July Celebration!

Honor Independence Day by experimenting with electricity, crafting ink and quills, and more!

July 1, 2017

July 4, 2017
11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

WHAT:

This Fourth of July, the Science Center is combining history and science in a series of activities that bring out the best of this patriotic holiday.

Experiment with electricity like Benjamin Franklin, learn to sew like Betsy Ross, and create gooey star-spangled slime. Guests will also be able to craft their own ink and quill the same way our founding fathers did 241 years ago. Make sure to leave your mark on history by signing our giant Declaration of Independence.

Plus, don’t miss our live show Kaboom! for an exciting, explosive good time!

There will not be fireworks at this event, but it’s a great way to beat the heat between your own barbeques and celebrations. Guests will have access to Identity and all the other exhibits in the building.
