Pick Blueberries at Sand Hill Farms!

And a recipe for Blueberry Cream Cheese Cookies!

May 25, 2016
It's the season again! We LOVE blueberries and picking them ourselves is so much fun! Over the weekend we visited Sand Hill Farms in Eustis - it's a little bit of a drive but so worth it! My girls picked whole bucket full which was about 5-6 lbs.

The owners are super sweet and helpful! They grow 3 types of blueberries on their farm, so you have a few to choose from! My girls were tasting the berries as they picked them so they knew they were so delicious! The owners are so sweet and didn't seem to mind my girls sampling the merchandise!

At only $4.00 a lb you can stock up for a few months! They freeze well so you can pull them out as needed! We decided to make some Blueberry Cream Cheese cookies we found on Pinterest. I didn't make the lemon glaze for ours but it didn't even need it! These things were so good!

At the farm they have a fun sand pile, some swings and a huge area to just run! They sell snacks and drinks so everyone can be content while you are there! Plus they have jams, honey and eggs for sale too! We got a jar of blueberry jam - I can't wait to try it!

The best part is they have TONS of berries! So you can fill your bucket without having to walk very far! There are only a couple weeks left to pick so hurry out and tell them Macaroni Kid Sent you!!
