Adventures in History Summer Camps

April 29, 2014

Learning is fun when you’re running obstacle courses, decoding secret messages, discovering Florida’s fantastic past, and making new friends! Add in visits with Florida wildlife, superheroes, and historical figures, and your children are sure to leave with lasting memories.

This year’s Adventures in History Summer Camp is for children entering Grades 1-9 in the 2016-17 school year and features new curriculum throughout nine weeks of camp adventures.

Additional Info:
Our camps have exciting changes this year! We’ve extended our hours, added field trips, and created out-of-the-box learning experiences.

For example, grades 1-6 will visit programs at the Orlando Public Library, and grades 7-9 will sharpen their deductive skills at The Great Escape Room and create experiments with the folks from Mad Science. Our 1st & 2nd grade campers will enjoy painting sculptures and print-making, while our 3rd & 4th graders will have a jam session with a drummer. We’ve also added more science experiments and fun interactions with bugs and live animals.
